Just so you know, this is not because the system is broken but because we never thought it was worth fixing.
I have a https://t.co/0nj6bkCGQL,Ed and a MEd from the Nigerian education system. I watched brilliant, committed people study curriculum theory, developmental psychology, pedagogy, and assessment for years, just to enter a profession that the same government treats like a fallback option for people who could not get in anywhere else. And now JAMB has formalized that disrespect.
Ask yourself one question: would we ever do this for Medicine and Surgery? Would we say, “you know what, anyone who wants to be a doctor does not need to pass UTME?” Of course not. Because people would die, and we would see it. Dead body go surplus ba? Yeah.
But here is the truth nobody wants to say out loud. The damage a poorly trained teacher does is just as lethal. It is only slower. It shows up twenty years later in citizens who cannot think critically, who are vulnerable to propaganda, who will collect N5,000 and vote against their own future, who will join a secret cult because nobody ever taught them their own dignity. You cannot separate the collapse of Nigerian civic life from the collapse of Nigerian teacher education. They are the same story.
Finland did not become Finland by accident. Denmark did not become Denmark by accident. The countries we admire for their infrastructure, their rule of law, their social trust, their cleanliness, their decency, built those things first in classrooms, with teachers who were selected from the top of their graduating cohorts and paid and respected accordingly. Teaching in Finland is as competitive as Medicine. That is not a coincidence.
Our leaders cannot see this because they are not building for a future they will not live to enjoy. They want to name senate buildings after themselves today like Mimiko did in Ondo State. They want to build stadiums and name it after themselves like Godswill Akpabio. Nobody gets a plaque for producing a generation of thoughtful citizens. Nobody cuts a ribbon for that. And so it does not get done.
Also, prioritizing petroleum engineers and tech gurus give them the ammunition they need to continuously take advantage of our natural resources and fintech opportunities to make millions. But for teachers who raise viable citizens? Nah! No instant reward.
This JAMB policy is not a mistake. It is a value statement. It tells you exactly what this system thinks of teachers, of education, of the human beings those teachers will spend their lives shaping. And until we are as outraged about that as we are about fuel prices or naira depreciation, we will keep producing the same country, and then wondering why nothing ever changes.
Everyone at @JAMBHQ should be ashamed of themselves.
This is cope. You can discourage people from yahoo without lying about reality. Yahoo is simply financial crime and the bulk of the world money is gotten from financial crime. London itself is the financial crime capital of Europe.
Many yahoo boys diversified their assets, cleansed their money and are living on investments. How you make money is irrelevant to the world system, it is what you do with the money you make that determines if you live in wealth or poverty. You can make money legally and still go broke.
When we say actions have consequences - even the right ones, it means that making good decisions and living your life right does not mean the universe will reward you with wealth. Most times, it means you won't make money, but you'll be able to sleep because your conscience is clear and you wake up holding the full measure of your integrity. To make money in this world, most times, you need to dead your conscience. It is a dog eat dog world.
The whole point of living right, is because it is right, not because it will fetch you money. Many times, it won't because you convince yourself that all money is not good money. That is the consequences of making the right action. The world system itself rewards ruthlessness. If you get caught and punished- that is consequences. If you never get caught, and you live large - that is consequences.
Actions have consequences- you just never know which one is yours.
@higoodluck I enjoyed Thr3e by Ted Decker. But if your interested in series I think the southern series by Peter O’Mahony would do you justice it’s a legal thriller
I’m a Gen z Christian but I still believe and practice the following:
- I still own a physical Bible. The future generation should not be told that physical Bibles once existed.
- I still believe in no sex before marriage.
- I still believe in dressing modestly. Wearing clothes that cover your cleavage, thighs and tummy.
- I still go to church physically. Watching service on YouTube doesn’t count for me.
- I still believe in paying my tithes.
- I don’t go to clubs. If I want to have a good time, I go to my Father’s house.
- I still fast. Jesus commanded us to fast.
- If it’s trending but ungodly count me out.
- I don’t believe in random dating, if you don’t have plans to marry me, just disappear.
- I don’t listen to songs with worldly lyrics.
-I bind and cast out demons because I’m fully aware of my authority in Christ and my Bible said that He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.
My fellow Gen z Christian, I hope you were able to relate with these??
Don’t forget to follow me here, so that you will see my next post.
Sending holy kisses 😘
How a nine year old granddaughter explained the gospel to her mom:
Adam and Eve broke the rules and were put in prison.
Because of that we were all born in prison.
But Jesus came and opened the prison doors. Now everyone gets to decide if they want to walk out of prison or not!
Blue is 100/100. They make the money…When it comes to protection, they share the umbrella equally. Their relationship is strictly professional.
Green, the woman makes the money. Maybe not much, but enough to get by. She’s a very important aspect of the family, hence why the husband protects her more, even at his own detriment.
Red, the man makes the money. The wife does the protection and still protects herself while doing so, because the money makes her feel secure.
Yellow, the husband makes the money, albeit not much, but they are content and he still does the protection with his wife. The wife can protect herself, but would rather rely on her husband’s protection.
I want to be 4 😩
But 1 is the goal.
The four Gospels are not random repetitions. Each one presents Jesus from a different angle, for a specific purpose and audience. Together, they give a full picture of who He is.
1. Matthew —>> Jesus as the King (Messiah)
Audience: Mainly Jews
Matthew focuses on proving that Jesus is the promised Messiah from the Old Testament.
• He starts with a genealogy from Abraham and David → showing Jesus is a royal descendant
• Constantly says: “This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet…”
• Emphasizes the Kingdom of Heaven
Why?
The Jews were waiting for a King. Matthew is saying: “This is the One you have been waiting for.”
2. Mark —>> Jesus as the Servant with Power
Audience: Romans (action-oriented people)
Mark shows Jesus as:
• Always moving
• Always serving
• Performing miracles
There are fewer long teachings and more actions.
• No genealogy (servants don’t need one)
• Focus on what Jesus does, not long explanations
Why?
Romans respected power and action, not long religious discussions.
Mark shows: Jesus is powerful, active, and authoritative.
3. Luke —>>Jesus as the Perfect Man (Savior of All)
Audience: Gentiles (non-Jews)
Luke presents Jesus as:
• Compassionate
• Caring for the poor, women, and outcasts
• Deeply human, yet perfect
• Genealogy goes all the way back to Adam (not just Abraham)
• Emphasis on prayer, mercy, and the Holy Spirit
Why?
Luke wants to show that Jesus is not only for Jews, but for everyone. “He is the Savior of all humanity.”
4. John —>> Jesus as God (Divine Son)
Audience: Everyone (universal)
John goes deeper than the others.
• Starts with: “In the beginning was the Word…”
• Clearly declares Jesus divinity
• Focuses on who Jesus is, not just what He did
Includes powerful “I AM” statements:
• “I am the Light of the world”
• “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life”
Why?
John wants there to be no confusion:
Jesus is not just a prophet, He is God in the flesh.
God allowed four Gospels so we can see Jesus fully as:
• King (Matthew)
• Servant (Mark)
• Man (Luke)
• God (John)

When men go broke, it’s not as if we don’t have money for haircut at that moment , we just feel like we don’t deserve it while everything else is going bad 💔🥹
Scar from the Lion King.
He is the only lion there that behaved like a lion. Mufasa was running that Kingdom like a circus. "Hey, look. I know I eat you but I really like you. Come look at my son who will grow up to eat you". Busy involving monkeys in lion affairs and leaving his brother to have no choice but to form frienships with the enemy hyenas.
He had every right to fight for that throne because that is what male lions do. He didn't even kill that dude, it was the wildebeests that finished him off. The same ones he was doing musicals with.
To show that he was right, Simba started a new life of eating bugs when he ran away because he has the same weak genes as his father. When there was a drought, Scar didn't eat bugs. He kept it real and starved, but they made it seem like the drought was his fault. He was leading in difficult times!
When it was now convenient and the rains were coming, your Bug Eating king came back to take on a starving Scar while he had a stomach full of caterpillars and cockroaches because even when living with prey he is not the leader.
Scar's only mistake was letting Simba live. If he killed that little dude then the rains would come and the Kingdom would thrive again under his leadership. But no, he let him live and he came back when it was convenient because he can only lead in good times like his useless father.
Mufasa and Simba were good dudes, Scar was just a real lion. Which is what you would expect in a movie about lions 🤦🏾♂️
I like weird people. The black sheep, the odd ducks, the eccentrics, the artists, the loners. People who actually think for themselves, the kind whose morals are not swayed by groupthink. These people have the most beautiful soułs.
(A really cute girl is at my till buying coffee, completely locked in on her phone, typing away 😭)
Cute girl: still looking down “One Caramel Frap, small please. Thanks.”
Me: “Yeah sure, coming right up!”
(I make her drink, come back to the counter and place it down)
Me: “Here you go, ma’am. That’ll be $4.05.”
(She pays me with a $5 bill and finally looks up)
She freezes.
Like… proper freezes 😭 eyes wide, mouth slightly open, just staring at me
I’m suddenly nervous for no reason
this goes on for like 10 awkward seconds before she blinks fast like she just rebooted
Cute girl: “uhh… yeah… ok… I… I… um… one sec”
takes deep breath
“has this ever happened to you before?”
Me: “uhh… I don’t think I follow”
Cute girl: “this!” she points between me and her like I’m supposed to understand
Me: “I’m still lost honestly…”
Cute girl: “you know… a girl sees your face and just freezes?? like fully glitches?? and it’s obvious she’s attracted??”
(now the whole café starts listening 😭 people slowing down, pretending not to stare)
someone literally goes “awww”
I just go: “uh… not really”
She suddenly snatches the $5 back from me 😭
then pulls out a $100 bill and drops it on the counter
Cute girl: “ok listen. I’m gonna walk out like I forgot my change… if you follow me out to return it, it means you want my number and dinner this week. if you don’t, just put it in the tip jar.”
then she just walks out like nothing happened
dead silence in the café
Customer behind me: “bro GO 😭😭”
Coworker: “that’s literally your wife don’t mess this up”
even my manager is just standing there like 🧍🏽♂️ “don’t be stupid”
I grab her change, shake a little, and write my number on a receipt paper
I go outside
Me: “uhh… your change. and… my number.”
She smiles.
like actually smiles 😭
Cute girl: “good choice”
and just walks off
I go back inside and the whole café erupts 😭 clapping, screaming, someone yelling “SHE WON”
my manager just goes: “free espresso shots for everybody. don’t talk to me for the next hour.”
*The Corruption Jesus Christ Died to Expose...*
Someone told me recently — “Do you know there’s something that happened in the temple that most people never fully explain?”
I thought I knew the story.
*Matthew 21:13 (NKJV)*
*“And He said to them, ‘It is written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer,” but you have made it a “den of thieves "*
Jesus walks in… flips tables… calls it a den of thieves… walks out.
End of story.
But wait—no. That’s surface-level thinking. That’s what we’ve all been told. The real thing? It goes deeper… much deeper.
Den of thieves” wasn’t just about stealing—it pointed to a system… a hiding place where corruption was normalized under the cover of religion.
That’s what He was confronting.
You see Jerusalem was the center of everything.
Every Jewish man—no matter where he lived—had to come.
Egypt. Babylon. Greece. Didn’t matter.
And when you came, you didn’t come empty.
Two things were required: – Temple tax
– Sacrifice
Simple? Not really.
The trap started at the gate…
You couldn’t use Roman money.
Why? It had Caesar’s image—considered idolatry.
So what happens?
You’re forced to exchange your money.
And guess who’s waiting right there? Moneychangers.
Charging fees.
Every. Single. Time.
You haven’t even started worship—and you’re already paying.
Then comes the sacrifice…
Maybe you carried your lamb from home.
You kept it clean. Protected it. It mattered to you.
But now?
The priests inspect it.
And suddenly—there’s a problem.
A spot. A mark. Something “not right.”
Rejected.
Convenient, right?
Because right there… temple vendors are selling approved animals.
At their price.
You’re tired. You’re far from home. And Passover won’t wait.
So what do you do?
You pay.
You have no choice.
So who was behind all this?
The high priestly family.
The house of Annas… with Caiaphas in office.
This wasn’t random.
This was a system.
Controlled. Structured. Profitable.
A religious monopoly.
Every worshipper that stepped into Jerusalem? Passed through their hands.
Then Jesus walks in…
And He doesn’t ignore it.
He doesn’t adjust to it.
He doesn’t preach around it.
He flips it.
Tables flying. Money scattered.
This wasn’t just “passion.”
This was exposure.
He shut down a system.
A system that made money off people trying to meet God.
Think about that.
Now ask yourself—
Why did they really want Him gone?
Was it just doctrine?
Just theology?
No.
He touched their money.
He exposed their control.
He disrupted their power.
And men don’t tolerate that.
The tension didn’t start at the cross.
It started the moment He interfered with their system.
From that point?
It was no longer discussion.
It became a decision.
Jesus didn’t just cleanse a temple.
He confronted corruption.
He exposed manipulation.
He revealed what happens when men use God… to build systems that serve themselves.
And let’s be honest…
Would He find anything different today?
Or would He still be flipping tables?
*To Be continued...*
*Selah*
I want to go on a date with someone; but in a cafe-style library where we can read separate books, drink iced coffee and only share the thoughts we have from reading our books.
How many of these things have you noticed:
1. Malls don’t have windows so you won’t realize it’s already dark outside…
You lose track of time and stay longer.
2. Bars don’t display clocks so you don’t notice how long you’ve been there…
You keep drinking, spending more.
3. Restaurants play fast, upbeat music so you eat quicker and leave sooner…
Making space for the next customer.
4. Cafés play slow, relaxing music so you stay longer and end up ordering more.
5. Supermarkets place essentials like milk at the back so you walk through the store and pick up things you didn’t plan to buy.
Everything is intentional.
Nothing is random.
1. Shave your pubic hair regularly. Why are you keeping hair in your armpits and private areas? Where hair grows, you sweat more. Shave.
2. Change your underwear whenever you shower, or at least once every day.
3. Do not have unprotected sex with anyone whose sexual history you do not know. Show each other your test results before going down raw (if you must).
4. Change or wash your bedsheets at least every weekend. Sometimes the reason your skincare is not working is because your bedsheets are dirty.
5. As soon as you get home from anywhere, wash your hands before doing anything else.
6. Oral hygiene is very important. Brush your teeth, scrape your tongue, and floss at least once daily. If you can do it twice, even better.
7. Wash your butt crack properly. When you are in the shower, spread your butt cheeks and wash thoroughly. It is your body for crying out loud.
8. If you have genital appointment, two to three days beforehand, shave, eat fruits, drink enough water, wear deodorant, and wear clean underwear to the link up. They should naturally crave to eat you out because you smell so good.
9. Bathe twice daily, no matter what. If you go to the gym, bathe before and after your workout. It is non-negotiable.
10. After using the toilet, use water only or water with tissue paper to clean up. Do not use only tissue.
11. Wash your towel regularly.
12. Normalize sleeping naked. Let your private parts breathe.
