I am shocked with Alfred Mutua's directive that we should pay house helps Ksh 18,000 per month.
Currently,I live in Nairobi and my salary is Ksh 75,000. I pay my househelp Ksh 10,000. My rent is Ksh 15,000 and shopping plus food cost me more than Ksh 20,000. After all the expenses,I remain with less than Ksh15,000 to save. If I increase my house help's salary to 18k it means I won't be saving any money.
For those who have house helps, how much do you pay them?

UPDATE: Students at Alliance High School have been sent home for the weekend following an incident involving a section of mattresses in one of the institution's older dormitories. In a communication to parents and guardians, the school's administration said the incident was swiftly contained and managed, assuring families that all students were safe. #starkenyanews
Judges are rightfully outraged by counsel citing fictitious cases. We are officers of the court. We don’t cite non-existent cases; we twist real ones into non-existent meanings.
About to give up on @MyKenyaLaw . The website is too slow for us to do any meaningful research.
Any advocates using Sheria Hub? Does it have all cases and is it intuitive? (Asking before I pay)
