What is NDE's SPED Office's purpose? To lead the improvement of outcomes for preparing all children & students with disabilities & their families for learning, earning, & living through effective use of data, collaboration, communication, & a framework of differentiated support.
ESU 13 kicked off this year’s Targeted Improvement Plan workshops with a great day of learning facilitated by Nebraska Department of Education’s Darsha Pelland, Micki Charf, and Brian Wojcik and NeMTSS’s Tessa Fraass. 18 of 21 districts were represented at today’s workshop!
A multidisciplinary team is working to develop programming to support youth transitioning back to the classroom from detention, expulsion and other out-of-school placements.
