We have seen the OHCHR’s remarks about today’s events in New Delhi.

India is the world’s largest democracy, where the right to peaceful assembly is guaranteed by our Constitution and safeguarded by robust institutions, an independent judiciary and a free media. As in every democracy, Indian citizens exercise this right subject to reasonable restrictions in the interest of public order. The authorities, for their part, act in accordance with the law, and our courts remain available to all for redressal of any grievances.

The OHCHR’s concerns are therefore misplaced and constitute an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of India.

In this context, OHCHR would also do well to devote comparable attention to large-scale protests elsewhere, consistent with its mandate of impartiality and non-selectivity.

4 Ex Military persons survive in fire incident in running Mahindra SUV in Gurgaon…

Burning of Mahindra XUV 700 vehicles continue - it’s a real RUNNING LIVE BOMB ON THE ROADS & THREAT TO LIFE To PASSENGERS…

PART -1

We, the four (04) Ex Military officers (including me), travelling in my Mahindra XUV 700 vehicle ( Oct 2022 vintage) narrowly escaped when vehicle got engulfed in smoke… And Vehicle almost caught fire.

Vehicle barely moved 2/300 meters away from my house located in Gurgaon in the early morning hours under cool weather conditions, but suddenly :-
- Engine temperature shot up to maximum within seconds of moving causing overheating
- ⁠Engine compartment smoked badly & almost caught fire

Thankfully, we are all trained & alert soldiers who are capable to handle emergencies;
We sensed the problem instantly & reacted with speed. We quickly came out from the vehicle, acted swiftly & used all available water resources, water bottles & fire extinguisher in & around the smoking vehicle to cool down the engine and luckily extinguished the smoke and potential fire…

Fortunately, potential tragedy was averted due to quick response by trained & vigilant ex Military personnels sitting in the vehicle…
Mr Mahindra, we were lucky to have survived in this potential tragedy & by the grace of God, we all are safe…

But many will not survive, if they get caught in such incidents…

Mr Mahindra, I want to apprise you that, this vehicle came back from your DEE EEM Mahindra workshop in Gurgaon, on the previous evening only after repairs for same problems.
In fact, this vehicle has remained in your workshop for most of the time in last 5 months for air conditioning cum overhearing issues….

Since, we were not confident about your repairs as it has been going & coming back multiple times to/from your workshop for the same problem in last 5/6 months. In fact, this problem of overheating started when vehicle had done just 18/19K kms during the first summer in 2023 after purchase in Oct 2022.
Your team has been giving false assurances every time that vehicle is fully fit now. But, all assurances failed every time and problems still remained the same till date clearly indicating that either there is a design issue or your repair workshops are incompetent…
Last time, we accepted this vehicle after 100% surety & assurances were given to me once again by Mahindra’s Area Manager, Mr Jagandeep and Vice Pesident & GM of Mahindra workshop…
But, unfortunately, their assurances & commitment failed once again and this incident happened on the next very day itself…

Mr Mahindra, it’s not question of my safety alone, it’s a larger question of safety of lakhs of people who are using Mahindra vehicles…
And you owe responsibility towards safety if each one of them…

Most importantly,
Military is the single largest buyer of Mahindra vehicles… Large number of Military personnels are using your vehicles… Their safety is our prime concern…

How can you put the lives Military personnels in danger due to your faulty design, manufacturing defects & your profiteering only system…

So, why should country allow any military man to die in your burning vehicles due to faulty design of your vehicles & also due to poor workmanship of incompetent mechanics in your workshops…

Mr Mahindra, you must be aware that Incidents of Mahindra vehicles catching fire are on the rise due to faulty design & underpowered engines…

Few days back another XUV-700 of 2023 vintage caught fire on busy Gurgaon roads…
And your people have not acted responsibly so far. They are all in denial mode to accept the reality of flawed design…
I warn you that you will be solely held responsible & accountable for any loss of public property & life due to any such incident…
