SEBI relaxes mutual fund KYC rules
After a month and half of investors, AMCs, distributors and advisors running around to get their KYCs in order, SEBI has heard investors' feedback and offered some relief.

✅Pan-Aadhaar linkage not necessary. From an income-tax perspective, this is still necessary.
✅Either email OR mobile needs to be validated
✅NRIs get relief: if Aadhar is not submitted, KYC 'Registered' status can allow them to invest across fund houses.
☑️KRAs are also working to get passports getting verified through DigiLocker. This would help NRIs
☑️Also documents other than Aadhaar (like driver's license) are being tested out on a pilot basis. This would help those investors who don't wish to submit their Aadhaar.

This is what we have been trying to explain you. If wrong data is shared it cannot be processed.
@udayvaidyasurat Clarifying for your reference, keying mistake is done by your RM, KRA recieved it incorrectly. KRA has not done any mistake in the data. KRA can only process the data received. But we do understand your inconvenience. Please ask your RM to share the modification request.

@udayvaidyasurat कार्रवाई आपकी तरफ से लंबित है। आपको मार्गदर्शन दिया है। आपके AMC ने गलत data भेजा है। हमने कॉल पर बात की और आपको समझाया। आपके RM द्वारा अभी तक modification नहीं आया है। गलत email का validation नहीं किया जा सकता। अगर आपको फिर से बात करने की जरूरत है तो हमें बताएं।

@udayvaidyasurat@SEBI_India@amfiindia@mohanty_swarup We are NDML. We have recieved your email & have requested to raise the modification since your intermediary (Mirae) has sent incorrect email id. Once the modification is raised,we will process the KYC. It is not possible to take the KYC request on email.We just spoke on phone
