BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG, which captures the full-group comeback performance of BTS, has ranked No. 1 on Netflix’s global viewing chart.
The concert ranked No. 1 in 77 countries, including Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom, as well as Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
Notably, it highlights the strong interest from audiences in the United States and the United Kingdom—two of the world’s largest pop music markets—in BTS’s comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square.
In addition, the concert ranked No. 2 in 14 countries, including the Bahamas, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, and Ireland, and No. 3 in New Zealand. It placed within the Top 3 in 93 countries tracked by FlixPatrol, proving BTS’s global impact despite their hiatus.
The free concert, held on March 21 at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, was broadcast live to over 190 countries worldwide via Netflix.
The show was directed by Hamish Hamilton, known for producing performances for artists such as Madonna and Beyoncé, as well as major events like the Super Bowl halftime show. He captured the unique aesthetic of Gwanghwamun Square in this production.
