By 1998, Garmin’s StreetPilot was their first portable GPS for cars, with a B/W screen and map cartridges for around $550. It was portable for use in different cars or rentals. Full GPS functionality in commercial vehicles came in 2000 due to U.S. limits.

The 10th of June marks Portugal Day where we celebrate our country, the great poet Luís de Camões and all Portuguese communities around the world. As Portuguese we tend to be harsh on how we view ourselves or our place in the world, but we do it out of love.
ONIS was GM's answer to the Car GPS race. It was added to Oldsmobile’s 88 series as a factory option for the 1995 model-year.
For retail sale, it was renamed GuideStar. initially, only California and Las Vegas were mapped, but soon more mapping “cartridges” were available.
Our team building events are all about friendly competition, good food and some moderate drinking so it doesn't affect our navigation skills.
