Christians, we need to stop telling people to “accept Jesus into your heart.” This isn’t biblical language. Just about everyone accepts Jesus in their hearts” but aren’t truly saved.
Instead, let’s say “repent and believe the gospel/believe in Jesus,” like the Bible says.
Tim Tebow said a prayer prior to the Tennessee vs Syracuse game you have to hear 🙏🏼
“We cannot earn it. We do not deserve it. But today we say thank you for your love & your grace”
Americans are finding out…
The “elites” have been cheating on their mortgages, selling intelligence to the highest bidders, laundering tax $ through NGOs and setting up Foundations/nonprofits to get kickbacks.
All while they raise our taxes and destroying America.
Treason.
If you think being a pastor is easy consider these sobering truths:
✅ Preaching a sermon every week is the equivalent to writing a 10 page term paper on a passage of Scripture (or several passages) and delivering it with gusto before a room full of spectators who will most likely critique it over lunch.
✅ Pastoring a congregation includes sheperding those who are disgruntled, anxious, sin-laden, angry and/or struggling with their marriages and/or kids. Pastors are often expected to be equal parts preacher and counselor, available at their beckon call to all members of their congregations.
✅ Pastors are often expected to be the ones who lead the staff, define expectations, measure outcomes, finalize budgets and hire/fire. Many look to their pastors to be the CEO/Shepherd/Superman for the entire church.
Add to this: elders meetings, deacons meetings, staff meetings, discipleship meetings, small groups, church functions, potlucks, etc,...no wonder why so many pastors burn out!
How about this? Expect your pastor to be a shepherd, not a CEO, counselor and event coordinator. And don't expect them to be at every event or run it.
And NEVER ASK your pastor, "Outside of Sunday, what do you do all week?"
I co-planted and pastored a church for a decade. The pressure is immense and the challenges are intense.
Your pastor needs prayer and encouragement, not criticism and more to do.

True love for Christ isn’t self-generated. In this clip, @RCSproul explains how the Holy Spirit kindles our affections for the Lord by transforming our hearts.

There has been no change in the church's head. The head of the church on earth and in heaven is Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus is doing now what he was doing an hour ago: he sits at the Father's right hand, enthroned in glory, and he prays in great love for his people (Heb. 7:25).

Jesse Waters just did an excellent deep dive into the real inner workings of DOGE. It shows a dedicated team of incredibly smart, driven, patriotic Americans trying to fix a looting operation that has spiraled out of control.

Hundreds of thousands of Wisconsinites who voted for Trump in November will sit out the Wisconsin supreme court race. This election isn't about persuasion. It's purely about who cares more and who pays attention.

St. Patrick: From Slave to Preacher
When Patrick was a teenager, he was kidnapped during a raid on Britain and taken to Ireland to serve as a slave. After six years in captivity, he escaped, made his way back home, and eventually was ordained into the priesthood.
Then God, in his ironic way, sent Patrick back into the land of his former captivity to proclaim the freedom of the Gospel.
The boy who had been a slave was used by Christ to bring his word of salvation and life to a people who had been living in the darkness of pagan unbelief.
In Patrick we see the Lord of life at work, as we see him at work in our own lives. The God who can take a slave who seemed destined for nothing but death, and use his life to bring wisdom and light and salvation to the lives of so many others—this same God can and does work in our own lives.
We may seem destitute of hope, but the hope of Christ is stronger than our weakness. As he was for Patrick, so he will be for us: our companion in suffering, our life in death, our resurrection in the grave, and the Lord who uses us in his own way to bring blessings into the lives of others.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” —Romans 10:9–10
What must you do to be saved?
Historically, Protestants and Roman Catholics have answered this question differently.
Watch today as @RCSproul looks at the one word that makes all the difference in this dispute. https://t.co/HzaAVOpmrR
It isn’t government “waste.”
It’s corruption.
The Democrats aren’t “incompetent.”
They’re thieves.
They aren’t stealing “government money.”
It’s your money.
Remember this: The people who are screaming about Pres. Trump's and Musk’s audits of federal govt spending are the same people who wanted to hire 80,000 new IRS auditors to audit YOU.
Remember that time a guy with a rifle got onto the closest roof to the President and fired multiple shots, one grazing his head.
And then the Secret Service said the roof was too slanted to secure.
And then we found out absolutely nothing about the shooter.
That was weird.
