@Goonbreeder@Jiji09360522@newestleaf Funnily enough Spamton himself went through this before that, he had a "secret" out of his controlthat made him successful, but the moment he tried to reveal it, he lost it all. What's to be seen is if this will be Kris' fate as well, and who Tenna and Mike are in their case
@Goonbreeder@Jiji09360522@newestleaf Really in Spamton's fight you kind of do the opposite to Pink. In Pink's you're trying to make them accept each other, Spamton NEO on the other hand rejects its strings, he believes he can't be truly free with them, but ultimately getting rid of them renders him powerless.
@fetusofsteel@C_Kun Name how many characters are related to bats and baseballs in Deltarune. Like even if you wanted to argue this wasn't Dess's theme, from your point of view it'd be Noelle's who's still related to Dess lol.
@fetusofsteel@C_Kun@mwah6708 Outside of this, I think the view of leitmotifs as music linked to characters only and not emotions and events in general is something that has damaged UT/DR fans' way of seeing them.
@fetusofsteel@C_Kun@mwah6708 Are you sure because I just called the very real Carol Holiday and she told me good sisters are supposed to share things with their younger sister, EVEN their leitmotifs.
@C_Kun@mwah6708 Obviously the complexity of Deltarune comes that instead of a perfect family the Holidays are incredibly sketchy. Noelle is suppressing the truth, Carol is definitely playing a role on this and Rudy clearly knows of what Carol does. Dess is the missing piece of the puzzle.
@C_Kun@mwah6708 I think it's less them being bad at that and more of since Chapter 2 Deltarune fans have had a huge problem of accepting theories and fan content instantly as true, to the point where before Chapter 3+4 had even come out people had already imagined an entirely different full game
@C_Kun@mwah6708 Meanwhile on DR's side there are people actively arguing against the bat and ball imagery of the Knight and being deaf towards the Lost Girl leitmotif or denying its link because of it being a "generic theme"
@C_Kun@mwah6708 For the Masked Man we're literally shown what happens at the end of Chapter 1 then way before on Chapter 5 we get the foreshadowing of them being "similar to Lucas" before we even meet them in person. It's a straightforward connection.
@Pknorii It's okay because this stupid tree followed by the tunnel has to be one of the biggest skill checks I have ever seen in a game, like most of the third world is so much easier than this.
@ivushu I've always found the less common word "puchi" a better alternative if a character has a non-chibi design, but unlike chibi, it's used to describe anything that's a miniature as a whole especially in Japanese marketing, not just characters.... The artstyle is called chibi anyways
@CybriskGX@rickityrrrat@KittensNeeds@Eggiari69 I'm pretty sure they didn't mean "You literally need to put 6 hours a day". The best of the best did, and probably once they had chosen that was their profession, which is why they are so consistent. One hour a day should be good enough.
@CybriskGX@KittensNeeds@Eggiari69 Seems a bit of a pretty harsh mindset especially when it comes to something as subjective as art. There are clearly Dos and Don'ts, but it doesn't change that people love amateurish stuff while they ignore more professional art, so "good" here is just as far as what you find good
@CybriskGX@KittensNeeds@Eggiari69 Unless your plan is to build a strong professional portfolio quick, drawing is not really that much different to just any other activity. It's not something you need to be good at. Just like a game you can enjoy it being bad at it, but being good at it will probably feel better.
