One $SOFI metric I'd really like to see begin to accelerate is products per member. It's been stagnant at ~1.46 for four straight quarters.
The point of SoFi's ecosystem is to promote better cross-sell to make the ecosystem stickier. SoFi Plus ought to encourage this by giving perks across different products. Awesome member growth does make this harder as new members often start out with just a single product, but there is no reason for this to flatline.
If I were part of the strategy team at SoFi, I'd be running massive tests all the time on every part of the app and marketing to see how to promote cross sell. I'd A/B test every single thing I could to do everything I could to get members to take that second and third product.
If your ecosystem is your moat, and that's what SoFi's moat needs to be, then this is one of the most important metrics that they ought to be tracking and working to improve.
