Indian propaganda handle spreading false claims about a tragic fire incident in Comilla, where over 100 shops were reportedly burned. The incident, in which most of the shop owners were Muslim, is being falsely portrayed as Hindu persecution, with the claim that Muslims planned an attack on Hindu shops — which is completely untrue.

The cause of the fire is still uncertain. Comilla Fire Service Assistant Director Newton Das stated that initial findings suggest the fire started from the stove of a shop called Salam Mishtanna Bhandar.

Madhaiya Bazar Traders Association President KM Jamal mentioned that the fire broke out in the most important and commercial area of Madhaiya Bazar, with over a hundred shops being burned down.
