Heart of Midlothian can confirm that Lawrence Shankland is leaving the club to join Rangers.

The striker will make the move to Ibrox on undisclosed terms once the transfer window opens on June 15th.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ The tweet below has annoyed many fans down south. The sneering and the arrogance from them, and some media, since Villa beat Hibs has been laughable.

Many have said Celtic & Rangers would struggle to beat Championship clubs 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

In my opinion….Celtic & Rangers would beat every club in the Championship over two legs…comfortably.

As for the Premier League….Celtic & Rangers beat Luton, Bournemouth, Sheffield Utd, Everton, Fulham, Brentford, Burnley, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest & West Ham over two legs.

That’s more than half the premier league getting pumped by two Scottish clubs who don’t have anywhere near the budget of those clubs in England.

They’d also give the likes of Spurs, Villa and Man Utd a decent game.

They’d struggle against Man City, Liverpool etc.

However, give Scotland’s two giants the budget of Aston Villa and they’ll be competing for honours and a top 6 place in a couple of years.
