US President Trump is continually singling out India for punishment and rewarding Pakistan. The latest is the threat of imposing a 100% tariff on India and backing Pakistan’s NATO-like treaty with Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Nobody in the world is explaining why.

Why was Trump 1.0 totally rooting for India, and why is Trump 2.0 consistently penalising India? What really happened between 2020 and 2025 that turned the US so hostile against India? How is it that the same US President and the same Indian Prime Minister shared a great rapport in the first term, but in his second term, everything built over decades has gone downhill?

Since 2025, the US has been imposing very high tariffs (18%-50%) on Indian exports, penalising India for Russian oil purchases, challenging India’s strategic autonomy, deporting hundreds of illegal Indian immigrants in a humiliating way, sharply reducing Indian student visas, taking credit for halting India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, and constantly pressuring India to open its agriculture market, among other things. Pakistan, on the other hand, has received US support in every sphere, including the Pakistan Army’s counter-insurgency efforts in Balochistan.

All the US moves against India have affected the livelihoods of thousands of Indians working in export industries such as textiles, leather, and gems, in India; thousands of students aspiring to study, work and live in the US; millions of Indians who are facing rising costs for everything including fuel and gas.

It is just plain lazy to say that Trump is crazy, and pretty convenient to abuse him. Those who are averse to critical evaluation, thinking, and questioning are free to do that. But that does not explain strategic affairs and foreign policy. Nothing is illogical in international relations. Every move is well thought out and calibrated. There is a context, a background, and an explanation which Indian citizens don’t know, because we are not told. But there is one.

Indian policymakers either trivialise the devastation caused by US belligerence (the signs of which were evident from 2020 onwards) or completely refuse to acknowledge it, as if nothing has happened. Do Indian citizens deserve no accountability and transparency? Are we not a democracy?

Finally, Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned.

Sonam Wangchuk and Abhijeet Dipke may have become the faces of this movement, but Neha Bora from Uttarakhand has been its spine.

You may never agree with her ideology. You may disagree with her politics. That’s perfectly fine.

But if even half of us had the courage, consistency and conviction that she has shown over the past weeks, not just Uttarakhand but the entire country would be in a far better place.

It is easy to dismiss people with labels. It is much harder to stand on the streets, endure criticism, face hostility and still refuse to back down from what you believe is right.

The game of fraud CJP

1) Everything was well-planned.
2) NEET anger was real. Govt. was spooked.
3) Overnight, AAP supplied some boys for forming "CJP", and took full instructions from Modi, Shah, RSS.
4) Dipke was launched with fanfare. A non-entity, raised to minor stardom, to lead Jantar Mantar protest.
5) Goal - a controlled (fake) opposition to derail actual anger and opposition. Standard RSS modus operandi.
6) Drama started. But game wasn't getting built. So Sonam was urgently dropped into the scene.
7) Problem was that now actual Gen Z joined in, as their troubles were real, and deeply entrenched (way more than NEET scandals).
8) Govt. was spooked. Things spiralled out of control. A pan-India movement was born. They beat up students which led to a revolt.
9) CJP was spooked as well. They kept engaging in private talks with Modi team, where they were scolded repeatedly for not doing what they were supposed to.
10) Then Pradhan was removed.
11) Immediately, CJP happily took a presser with Modi Team to end all agitation and asked everyone to go home.

This is where we are. Remember: CJP is fake. It is Anna Part 2 (IAC 2). It was their misreading of Indian youth's problems that they birthed a national movement that won't stop now. Because Gen Z's problems are very deep and structural now.

Stop trusting these fakes.

It is surprising, that in the midst of the Elections, the CARETAKER Modi Government is initiating action for outright sale of properties valuing LAKHS OF CRORES of rupees in MUMBAI. The value of these properties is show as Re.1, as these may have been inherited properties. So at WHAT RATE (Market Rate ❓) would the Government sell these prime real estate shall be the key concern for all.

The date of the letter clearly shows the INTENTION of MODI Government. Yet another QUID PRO QUO ❓
