Let me explain how Pakistan smartly managed to eliminate Bangladesh from the T20 World Cup without bowling a single ball.

- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had no intention of withdrawing from the World Cup. However, the current government in 🇧🇩, which is anti-India, pressured the BCB to push the ICC to change the venue.

- The BCB approached the ICC and claimed there were security concerns in India, stating that the team felt unsafe playing there.

- In response, the ICC said it was open to conducting a security inspection. A third-party agency was hired to assess the situation in India, and the report concluded that it was safe to travel and play.

- While the BCB was still considering its next move, Mohsin Naqvi from the PCB saw an opportunity. He contacted the BCB president and claimed that he had the support of 10 votes.

- The BCB then requested a fair vote from the ICC, but the outcome went heavily in India’s favor, with a 14–2 result.

- As a result, Bangladesh was effectively pushed out of the World Cup. It’s worth noting that Pakistan had earlier assured the BCB president that Pakistan would also withdraw if Bangladesh was sidelined. However, the PCB has now confirmed that Pakistan will indeed participate in the World Cup.

- Conclusion: Never trust a country like Pakistan. They act like friends, but when it comes to profit and self-interest, they won’t hesitate to sell you out.
