The bible tells us to guard our heart since it determines the course of our lives. This is an important lesson to learn as we navigate life because truly, whatever and whoever has your heart will be capable of making or breaking you. Protect your heart, mind, body & soul.
Love after 25 is different. You’re not looking for sparks. You’re looking for stability, kindness and shared goals. You’ve outgrown games and butterflies. You’re craving peace, emotional safety, and someone whose future aligns with yours.
“Men suffer in silence.” No, they don’t. They make the people around them suffer instead. They offload their pain onto the woman closest to them. Every time.
I’m enjoying me, right now. I’m hurting, I’m healing.
I’m evolving, I’m releasing. I’m setting boundaries and staying firm. I’m being consistent with the things I need and want. I’m getting to know me all over again.
It’s RAW. I’m loving every minute of it.🦋
I don't wanna “win” the argument or feel “right”. That’s not the point nor my objective. I wanna feel like we’ve come to an understanding on the issue at hand. I want both of us to walk away feeling heard & understood. It’s not a competition.
If you are not ready to consider someone else’s wants and needs just as much as your own, marriage is not for you, no matter how many Bible verses you know.
I hope I marry a man who loves me like I'm the air he breathes. A man who would never be okay with hurting me, who will go above & beyond just to see me happy, who admires me like I'm the prettiest girl to exist, who doesn't have eyes for other girls bcz he's too busy loving me
It’s extremely important to learn how to be ok on your own. You have to learn how to pick yourself back up when you fall, provide for yourself, wipe ur tears away & make yourself happy. Having people there for you is truly great but you can't depend on them to always be there.
if you're not ready to consider my feelings in almost everything you do, it won’t work for me. because i’m very considerate, i never want the person i love to feel like i dont & i never want to love someone and not feel loved. consideration is up there with loyalty if you ask me.
Just apologize to your partner when you know you messed up. All that manipulative behavior and getting mad at them for being upset when they have a valid reason is just weird. People love to say they’re grown until it’s time to take accountability.
You can’t be in a relationship if you don’t like Rules. Stay Single & have your freedom to do as you want. In a relationship you constantly communicate, report, account for your actions & apologize when you are wrong. Pride & Ego are biggest enemies of a healthy relationship
