Pakistani propaganda accounts are spreading a FALSE narrative with a viral video!

CLAIM: An Indian Army soldier in #Manipur tried to rape a girl and was publicly beaten by locals.

FACT: Completely FALSE.

The incident happened in Maneri, Uttarkashi (#Uttarakhand) around 21-22 July 2026.

It involved an NCC officer (and a teacher) accused of molesting a female student during an NCC training session at a government school. Locals thrashed the accused after the girl escaped and informed her family. A POCSO case was registered at Maneri police station.

No Indian Army soldier. No connection to #Manipur.
NCC uniforms look similar to military ones - that’s how the misinformation spreads.
