What happened yesterday with Scottie is super unfortunate for the Louisville police department. I just spoke to one who said the officers who were selected to work this tournament are golf fans, and he said the cops who did the arrest were not part of that group and were only on site because of the accident. When the cops working the event got wind of it they couldn’t believe it—group chats were buzzing. “We locked up Scottie Scheffler?! No way. Has to be someone who looks like him.” They couldn’t believe it.

Matt Fitzpatrick just said they put a weight in his grip over a year ago for some testing, and then forgot about it. Said he’s been not feeling right since last February.
