I know there are probably a lot on my side that might have some grin on their face reading this news. To each their own.

I don't wish ill on anyone, even if I say stupid things now and then.

I'll pray for Joe Biden. I didn't vote for him. I didn't agree with him on virtually everything he did in office. He's a human being at the end of the day. And I'm sure in that body there is a good soul even if corrupted after years of being a politician. It's still there.

This also hits a little close to home for me because my Dad died from prostate cancer. And, like Biden, my Dad's cancer wasn't discovered until it had already metastasized.

He had small cell prostate cancer. Which, I believe is about 1-2% of all prostate cancers. Incredibly aggressive. Even going to the doctor every 6 months for a physical, including blood screening and prostate exams, it was not found until stage 4. Small cell prostate cancer does not produce PSA levels that would alert to cancerous cells, unlike traditional cancer.

I watched him withered away for 18 months. I watched him the morning he died. I heard the rattle. I felt his hand squeeze mine when he could no longer speak. I watched his last breath.

I'd never wish anyone to have to watch a love one go through that. Even someone like Hunter shouldn't have to watch his father die like that. So, I will say a prayer for the Bidens today. Because cancer is a horrible disease.
