تمام جمہوریت پسندوں کو پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی کا 57 واں یوم تاسیس مبارک، اس 57 سالہ سفر میں جہاں ہم نے ایک جانب ملک و قوم کے روشن مستقبل کیلئے عوامی فلاح و بہبود کی نئی تاریخ رقم کیں تو وہیں دوسری جانب جمہوریت، آئین اور پارلیمان کی بالادستی کی خاطر شہید ذوالفقارعلی بھٹو، شہید محترمہ بینظیر بھٹو سمیت ہزاروں کارکنان نے اپنی جانوں کا نظرانہ پیش کیا۔ اپنے اس طویل سفر میں ہم نے ہمیشہ ہی عوام کی خدمت کو اپنا بنیادی نظریہ بنایا، دوران اقتدار ہمارا مقصد صرف ایک ہی رہا ہے کہ ہر شخص کو برابری کی بنیاد پر مواقع فراہم ہوں۔ آج ہم اپنے بنیادی اصولوں سے وابستگی کا عہد کرتے ہوئے اس بات کو یقینی بنانا چاہتے ہیں کہ ظلم، ناانصافی اور عدم مساوات کے خلاف جدوجہد جاری رکھیں گے اور دور جدید کے نئے تقاضوں کو پورا کرنے کیلئے ہمیشہ صف اول کا کردار ادا کرتے رہیں گے۔
