@BruceCiskie Told by Sertie in a class at UMD in the 90’s. UMD is losing on the road and getting no calls from the officials. Sertie calls the ref over and asks “Can I get a penalty for thinking?” Ref says “No”. Sertie says “I think you’re reffing like $hit” Sertie got a bench minor.

The NEHOA is hosting it first meeting of the year on Sunday, September 25 at 6:30 PM at the Proctor Hockey Arena. If you are interested in officiating youth hockey and want to see what it is all about this would be the meeting to attend.
District 11 is hosting a USA Hockey Level 3 and 4 Zoom Seminar tomorrow, Wednesday, September 21st from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. If you were a USA Hockey level 2 last year, I would encourage you to become a level 3 this year. Go to the USA Hockey website to register.
