If I were sharing my piece on Thomas Pynchon's Shadow Ticket, Vineland, & OBAA––now online––just a week ago, all kinds of pleasure centers in my brain would be firing off. Instead I feel adrift, but my mom would be proud of me so why don't you read it? https://t.co/DaOPUHJ5nT
@OedipasKvass I have just finished The Crying Of Lot 49. I thought it was superb, loved so many things about the story. Final chapter how he used the words paranoia & paranoid was very clever. Oedipa was joining all the dots, but it was all in her mind….or was it? 👀

@Alex_Berwick I’m thinking more long term player recruitment & finances. Villa can’t act like Citeh, so what is the best strategy to tackle SCR? I use Brentford/Brighton as an example of good practice. Recruitment @ the mo feels chaotic, and resulting with players leaving with 12 months.
@DingoSerious@TheCinesthetic I agree with your 2nd point. The violence has taken TLJ on a spiritual journey, and he now realises that America isn’t a Country for Old Men, & it has left him frightened. Cormac is also paying tribute to the poem Sailing to Byzantium.
Fire & light represents the good guys.
@AmericanGwyn Yes, Judge Holden has a desire to dominate & manipulate everyone & everything he encounters. The Kids mercy & compassion stops him from blindly following Holden, and this is why the Judge fails to dominate the Kid. So as you say, the Judge indicts him.
@J_Tanswell I thought it was a straight red, & Buendia receiving a yellow b4 for using his elbow apparently, is very confusing. Ref can’t see everything, but wtf is VAR doing?
