Class 17 has moved into the Lukome Center in Uganda! This new group of 15 girls are beginning an 18-month journey of healing, training, & transformation. They are all adjusting well so far. As one of the girls commented last week, “This Center is like heaven on earth!”

They did it! My 11 year old rode 224 miles across Iowa over three days with his Dad and Grandma! Pretty sure they're figuring out how to do the whole thing next year.
Three generations of #RAGBRAI love!
Class 16 students at the Lukome Center sat for their Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) examinations. Students who pass demonstrate they possess the skills to be successful in a specific vocation.
What a great day in the next step of each of these young ladies’ journeys!
Conrad is in Ukraine meeting with partners who are starting a youth empowerment center to help kids who have been impacted by the war. We have always been committed to bringing hope to kids at the front lines of war, & we are being called to help the hurting youth in this region.
The International Day of the African Child is celebrated annually on June 16th. The theme for 2024 is “Education for all children in Africa: The time is now.” We are committed to building a brighter future for all the children that attend our programs!
It’s graduation time! Forty-six young ladies graduated from our Girl Empowerment Centers located in Imvepi Refugee Settlement. We are proud of each and every one and wish them all the best as they move forward into a brighter future!

Well, some things you thought you would never say: my brother @cmandsager is on @hgtv, not for his work with @ChildVoice but rather with his Highland cattle. Look for Farmhouse Fixer Season 3 Episode 4 to see him in action!
@sportsiren Hey Holly, if you are running out of words to describe CC and the @IowaWBB, how about these from a young girl in Africa? https://t.co/1mCakEBdC8
