Just before Live Aid in 1985, Freddie Mercury was reportedly warned by his doctor not to perform because he was experiencing vocal problems. Mercury chose to take the risk anyway, stepping onto the stage with Queen at London’s Wembley Stadium.
For roughly 21 unforgettable minutes, Queen captivated the enormous crowd. Mercury’s commanding vocals, effortless confidence, and legendary stage presence transformed the performance into one of the defining moments of the historic concert. Years later, a BBC poll named it the greatest rock gig of all time.
More than four decades later, Queen’s Live Aid set remains an iconic moment in music history and a powerful example of Freddie Mercury’s extraordinary ability to command a stadium.
Trump: "I take an aspirin a day. I don't know if it works but psychologically I need it. It thins the hell out of your blood I guess. I don't know if it works or not but I've been doing it for a long time. And here I am making speeches. I like Bayer aspirin. And I take the big one. They want me to go down to the 80. I take the 386. I don't know what the hell it is. It's a monster. They said, 'Sir, you don't need that!' I said, do me a favor, I've been doing okay for 35 years. Leave me alone."
