I think the state of #FFXIV is in a good spot when the biggest critique (that I've heard recently, anyway) is rewards. The content is going in a great direction.
So what kind of rewards does everyone want?

Personally I'd like them to focus on this scalable content then put more resources towards a variety of gear. Or even reexamine what gearing should look like. Especially once they hit Savage difficulties, they should at least give out Savage level gear.
