@adamscochran This is the dumbest take I’ve seen. Sushi is a growth company paying a dividend to holders that then get market sold. Plz ser use some brain cells and realize a DeFi native project without vc backers needs to be able to fund r&d.

Having large blocks of equity locked up to prevent dumps and preserve the integrity of long term building is why private companies vest equity for significant stakeholders.

@jdorman81 Price and Mkt cap drives developer interest which drives platform value drives TVL and create the flywheel. At the end of the day this is a product that has to build and harness network effects and platform value.

Early dumps can kill that momentum. There’s absolutely benefit.

@jdorman81 Well done! But a discount isn’t inherently counter to sushi community interest. There’s a world in which a discount for lockup makes sense. Funds get a (much smaller discount) while restricting ability to sell.
