Our Nyeri Women Rep has been in office since 2017, and seeking a Third term

She has NEVER implemented the specific PFM (NGAAF) Regulation that would establish a GBV Centre in Nyeri to handle the survivors

In 2025, 955 cases of GBV were recorded in our Public Health facilities

CG019 HAS NEVER ALLOCATED RESOURCES FOR A GBV CENTRE 😡...

I combed through different budget documents as far back as 2022.... NEVER 😔..

Am disappointed by Department of Gender Nyeri considering they have TWO POLICIES expressly calling for the establishment of a GBV Centre..

One of the programs in it is the Nyeri Youth Summit...to track progress on implementation and create a platform for DIALOGUE

📢 The Public Participation Bill, 2025 has been published.

▶️ The Bill seeks to provide a framework for effective public participation. It also provides guiding principles to be adhered to by institutions conducting public participation.

▶️ The Bill gives effect to the constitutional principle of participation of the people enshrined in article 1, 10, 35, 69, 118, 174, 184, 196, 201 and 232 of the Constitution.

▶️ The Bill further designates the responsible authorities for purposes of the development of specific guidelines for public participation in each public institution.
