Here is a non exhaustive list of the ways that Mustafa Kemal “ataturk” tried to destroy Islam

- banned hijab
- banned the Arabic call to prayer
- banned the use of “Allah” in the call to prayer
- turned mosques into stables, casinos, pubs and hotels
- legalised blasphemy of Islam, of Allah, of the prophet ﷺ and of the companions
- forbade the selling of books on Islam
- prohibited prayer in hagia sofia
- banned the use of Arabic during Jumu’ah and eid prayers
- removed the shahada from the all military flags
- oversaw the abolishment of the caliphate
- claimed the Quran was fabricated by the prophet ﷺ
- legalised the sale of pork
- Sunday replaced Friday as the weekly holiday
- the official Islamic annual holidays like Eid were replaced with Christian holidays like Christmas
- hijri calendar was replaced with the Gregorian calendar
- encouraged women to dress immodestly
- removed Islam as the official religion of Turkey
- removed Islamic inheritance laws
- forbade nikkah and iddah
- stopped officials from swearing an oath by Allah. Instead, officials would have to swear their oath to Turkey
- removed the calligraphy of the names of Allah, the prophet ﷺ and the sahaba from mosques. Only hagia sofia was spared and that’s only because the plates were too big to be removed
- stopped imams from being able to speak to soldiers
- executed scholars who refused to obey him
- allowed non Muslim men to marry Muslim women
