@SpookyWizard1@Nerdrotics@getouxs And in both instances there's still more dislikes when added ones without the extension so your point is meaningless.
I just finished encoding the new Werewolf trailer and this thing is drenched in film grain. Even at 98 Mbps target, the grain holds strong and stays completely intact. x265 handled it cleanly and preserved all that gritty detail. You're going to need a fast USB for this trailer because the bit-rates are maxed out all the time because the ultra heavy film grain.
When this comes out on 4K Disc, Universal are really going to have to use high bit-rates on this one to get it to look good. Because low bit-rates mean you can't resolve film grain correctly. I'm using beyond placebo settings, and I can see that this grain is really making an impact on the encode. I'm using 2 bframes, which is the best setting for film grain QP using x265. This thing is maxed out.

The movie's bad, but Variety repeatedly pushing this headline is scummy behaviour.
They actually have a nice story in there: how a girl with no connections goes from washing dishes and filming audition tapes from her little attic bedroom to fronting major franchise movies.
Quite far down that interview, they drop the usual gender politics bait question, and then they make a pretty short, silly and off-the-cuff response into the headline, which they then re-post again and again and again — more or less guaranteeing the very backlash they pretend to be concerned about.
According to Sheev Talks, this was “pretentious.” I don’t really know what his standards are, but the most complicated word here is “perpetual,” or perhaps “adolescents.”
If that’s too pretentious for you, Sheev, that’s fine! Maybe a few Wordle games could help you catch up.
Pragnę podziękować każdemu Ukraińcowi, który klarownie wyraził swoje stanowisko przeciwko eskalacji napięcia z Polską. Jesteśmy zdecydowanymi zwolennikami takiego samego podejścia.
Widzimy Was i doceniamy Waszą postawę. Dla wielu Polaków daje to nadzieję na przyszłość naszych dobrosąsiedzkich relacji, w której na Ukrainie nie będą czczeni mordercy polskich kobiet i dzieci.
Lucas was right. Each Indiana Jones movie is about grappling with the implications of a particular faith being true; Crystal Skull is about atheism/postwar adhoc secularized spirituality (that's why the bad guys are Soviets!)
@crazi3bunch@mightydudbolt@matpolloy Huh who would like to be interested in galaxy far far away not looking like your everyday larp experience in the forest outside your house. Probably some weirdo who sucks at appreciating absolute masterpieces.
Spoiler Alert: Disclosure Day isn't really about aliens or anything like that. It's about magical glow sticks that are never explained or exposited, but comprise the overwhelming bulk of the plot. They also do whatever Spielberg and Koepp need them to do whenever the plot runs aground.
@mightydudbolt And at the same time Andor deliveres the story with the most uncomplex main set of characters being mouthpieces for political sides. Sure, we can have endless aspiring monologues and plethora of grim faces, but that isn't a substitute for a narrative involving humanity.
The andor show is old and tired, man in his late 60s writing extended didactic monologues from another time for tired actors to read out. It is the Labour Party of the 70s & 80s in prestige TV gloss.
@realBOTwriter@predator467 Andor does a great job at showing the planets and cultures are very made up and created for larpers. None have any naturalistic feel to it in a way Lucas wanted to show that people are very much living in it and not scream "hey we are fake, here's our fake fashion and fake song"
