People don't understand that when something is cheaper to produce it does automatically to lead to better quality.

Cheaper to produce means more people can start making movies, flooding the market. Individual movies get less attention, which means each movie is less profitable.

This means you can't allocate as much time and effort into making one outstanding movie that can drown in the competition or flop. You have to make more mediocre movies to dissipate the risk.

This applies to many, many other products as well.

@Rengle820 Why even use a static document at that point? One side could write an unpolished infodump document and each reader could have their own automated AI parser with their specific preferences. This is quite easy to setup for a full AI-native workflow.

Funniest thing is, when European founders who move to US for the VC money, start bashing Europe. They somehow magically forget that the huge safety net helped them massively to convince co-founders and to get over the valley of death.

@Heaney555 Also fascinating that EssilorLuxottica is the stronger partner in this deal. If they somehow fall out with Meta, they can just pick a different tech provider (Google, Apple etc.) and be just fine. Amazing how important is fashion, brand and distribution network for smart glasses
