Xbox is updating its achievement system.
Xbox Insiders will be the first to test the changes, which feature a redesigned look with new icons and unique animations for different rarity tiers. The notifications will now also match the user's chosen UI color theme.
The most significant addition is an equivalent to the Platinum trophy, where 100% completion will be distinctly highlighted in the achievement list.
This is just the beginning of a much larger overhaul for Xbox achievements.
RUMOR: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake (codenamed "Resynced") is set to be announced on April 16th, according to Insider Gaming.

Steam will soon predict frame rates for games on your PC.
Mentions of this feature were found in the Steam client files. The expected FPS will be based on data collected from PCs of users who have already run the game. All data is collected voluntarily and can be opted out in settings.
The feature is currently in testing and may appear in the Steam beta client soon.
NVIDIA is solving the VRAM shortage problem. The company is developing Neural Texture Compression technology, which can save up to 85% of video memory in modern games and 3D apps.
It uses a neural network to reconstruct textures only where needed, rather than generating them. This is reconstruction, not generation.
Demonstrated at GDC 2026: reduced VRAM usage from 6.5 GB to 970 MB (85% savings).
