The purpose of this account is to be used as a burner to dissociate from any particular identity. This is why I don't tweet much; I'm more interested in responding to posts I happen to see
@Seano299@memeticsisyphus@blightersort I'm glad you posted this because it makes your view much easier to understand. My next question would be how you would deal with agents that hold mutually rxclusive goals. How do you universalize a set of rights to all agents, rather than to a particular set of goals?
@ludden_tom@HariSel57511397 You would probably sell the idea of driving a car a lot better if the first two places you mentioned weren't school or work
@Lindy_Clearpill It's the *lack of exclusivity* that defiles a woman. Either she loves a man exclusively and stays with him or she's single and chaste, anything in between is a perversion
@VeryGreatMathew@unirespecter But no one here made any claim to moral authority. The point of the post is to make a dispassionate observation with no regard to moral valence.
@xJDW15@johndrewmarkley Au contraire when you are not encouraged (and instead nagged or scolded) by your parents then that is how children will learn to be shy and afraid to take any risks. The most timid people I've met all had overbearing parents
@dads_tired@VPLGore@RobbertRollins@girlatlawstuff Not everyone has the disposition to enjoy these things, but even then the point isn't that the mall in particular is locked off to under-18's, but that in general there are fewer and fewer things that they are allowed to do by themselves.
@LuciferGroyper You have learned nothing from the esteemed Dr. Raymond Peat. Your children will be awkward lankforms with a permanent teenager gait and no real athleticism.
@_y_o_t@StayRight239 But you're making the assumption here that the Church, in the way you concieve it, is part of this assent to faith; wouldn't the simpler explanation if the RCC is false simoly to be that the Church is not the particular way you concieved it, rather than God contradicting himself?
@DisgracedProp@Rho_die@horacesvilla@punished_bobda As soon as you try to posit what a man is as a status marker you are made effeminate. Posturing over status and appearances is the domain of women; it is the shadow council that decides the fate of nations
@_y_o_t@StayRight239 My contention is why all of Christianity rests upon this conception of the Church. If the Catholic Church is wrong, then why are you then willing to discard all of the historical prophesies, truths, etc. from the Bible itself?
@LeoRynd@StayRight239@_y_o_t What would preclude a Protestant view of the Church, that there is no church institution on Earth that can claim full Church authority, but rather that the true Church is the collective body of all believers in the fundamental truths of the Bible?
@StayRight239@_y_o_t Your first sentence implies that the Church precedes the Word, but is it not the Word that gives authority to the Church? Why then would the Church be the foundation for your claims, rather than the Word?
