Vet any woman who frequently says "men are scum" thoroughly, she's often a user or abuser of men, just angry because a smarter man spotted her game and flipped it on her.

Men are not scum- they're great fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins, and sons.

The creator of Frieren isn't a racist. And a majority of the fan base aren't racist. Don't let bad people play invasive species to pop culture. Frieren is a great anime/manga. This isn't confidence, it's just refusing to let a small but vocal minority of shitheads take cultural ownership of the things you enjoy. If she even recognizes their existence in the first place.
