@NinjaGamesYt No, in the Japanese version, Genos's death is what triggers the exponential growth—he's not just a tough opponent. Don't spout nonsense, LARPer.
Why the hell am I even sitting here, pointing out facts from the manga, analyzing scans, and debunking myths, if there are people like that? Yeah, common sense wouldn't want to be friends with them only a foil hat would. I'm freaked out.
i wanna say one more thing about the death battle Saitama Vs Goku…
Dawg they was having goku instantly transforming into his super forms..goku needs to charge up his ki to go into SSJ and all that so why tf was goku instantly transforming? They upscaled goku with damn fanfics
@cloutxyx You might as well ask why the fuck Goku can shoot Kamehamehas in different directions, or why he can fly—these questions are all cut from the same cloth. We’ve really hit rock bottom.
@cloutxyx I'm afraid I'm going to have to call you stupid, because I'm fucking shocked that anyone could ask such a stupid question. If you ask why? Well, I don't give a shit, because that's a question for fucking preschoolers,
@cloutxyx You're so fucking stupid, I'm not even going to bother responding to this bullshit with arguments. Your IQ isn't even high enough to wrap your head around this. If you watched Dragon Ball, you'd have known this a long time ago and wouldn't be asking such a stupid question.
@LOD_kun So it's just growing like that, huh? For no reason, just because it's exponential growth? Read the manga more carefully. Exponential growth requires conditions such as intense emotions that have never been experienced before. This is not Saitama's passive ability in general.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs The text is long, and since I don't have a subscription, I took a screenshot. Basically, I want to explain why this manga is included in OPM, my love for it, and how I perceive it.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs Let's not deny his training arc from back when he still had hair—even though his emotions have dulled over time, he did experience those feelings. And the manga states that he began to grow exponentially because of those intense emotions he had never felt before.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs And even so, Goku won't experience those kinds of emotions. Let me remind you that for that kind of growth, the emotions from battle alone aren't enough; Saitama has already experienced the thrill of battle, so those emotions aren't new to him.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs If Goku, in his standard Super Saiyan form, has enough power to defeat Frieza, Cell, and Buu—who all possessed the strength of planetary level beings then Saitama, according to the canon, is still only at the planetary level. So he has a long way to go.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs You asked how long it would take for the site to grow? A very long time. Since Goku's current power level is at least capable of destroying the universe. Considering that this is the God of Destruction arc from 2015.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs We could speculate about this forever. But the fact is that Saitama hasn't demonstrated the ability to cause actual planetary-scale destruction; I think that if he struck Jupiter, he could destroy it. But that's on the level of the Sayan Ark.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs If Muten Roshi and Piccolo could destroy the moon with a power level of 300, and Vegeta destroyed a planet with a power level of 18,000, what could a character with a power level of 1 million do?
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs Boros could have destroyed the planet. But he didn't show it. When Freeza actually did it, he showed it. Put that into perspective: Goku is already many times stronger after that point.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs DB characters can both lower and raise their ki levels. Defense decreases as ki levels rise. If the characters couldn't do this, they would break even the most ordinary everyday objects. Goku doesn't always keep his ki at its maximum level.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs Besides, that same Frieza destroyed the planet Vegeta with just one finger. If he could do that in his first form, what could he have done in his second, and so on?
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs It's just that many people deny that their abilities have scaled up; if they were that fit at that age, it has now evolved into a whole new level.
@glenngdonald@Hope_Briefs Also, there’s a strange, unexplained moment in the OPM manga do you remember that clash where a void appeared? It’s important to clarify that this was the combined impact power of Garou and Saitama squared, not Saitama’s individual impact power.
