STEAM Night was a huge success! The NES foundation did an amazing job coordinating this event and there were so many families that attended. Our kiddos got to design their own water filters inspired by our recent novel study: A Long Walk to Water @NESBraves @NES4thGrade

“No taxation without representation!!!” I had some very happy (and unhappy) students today as we re-enacted the colonists paying taxes to the Parliament and the King. After a great discussion, everyone got to enjoy the jelly beans😄

This afternoon we tasted the rainbow🌈 while we worked together to learn and discuss grading our kiddo’s writing pieces using an aligned rubric. Tasty snacks and productive conversations were had by @NES4thGrade 🎉
