@FoxieJD originally we used the 3 medal rankings last year but since platinum was added for Mill City we added it in the same fashion.
Gold was always 100, silver was always 80, so we just added the 20 in the same fashion

@graceguacamole @mad1synleigh the total of each competition is added and then divided by the number of competitions (besides if they attended 1) to create the total

@mad1synleigh Unfortunately since there have only been 2 competitions in new england so far, its not the most fair right now due to Mill City having less awards and attendinh groups than CMSCF

@mad1synleigh Mill City didn’t give out every award that CMSCF did. Unisex at Mill City didn’t get any BC/BB/BV but the Mixed division did and CMSCF gave out BB/BV/BC to every division (except middle school) The more competitions a group attends the more it gets evened and averaged out (:

If the group attends more than one competition, the competition totals are added then divided by the number of competitions:
Ex:
Comp 1:
Best soloist - 50
Gold - 100
1RU - 110
Total: 260

Comp 2:
Best band - 60
Gold - 100
2RU - 100
Total: 260

Combined total - 520
Divided - 260

how the rankings work:

Each competition is is laid out for each group and those are totaled.
Ex: best soloist - 50
Gold - 100
Total: 150

If the group only attended one competition, that is their current score.
