@Zach__317@the2kmessiah If you don’t care about advanced stats I completely understand and you can ignore everything I’m saying but that’s the way I like to look at it
@Zach__317@the2kmessiah It’s been like this his entire career tho, his peak advanced numbers are still really underwhelming
Also being on a bad team doesn’t automatically mean your impact numbers are gonna be bad
For example Lauri’s metrics are great despite the Jazz being terrible
@Zach__317@the2kmessiah Also I wouldn’t completely be against it if it’s what you suggested with Obi Shep and a couple picks
But I can’t get around to the idea of a Bridges package for him
@Zach__317@the2kmessiah I’m not against going all in, but if they do I don’t think Trey is the guy to do it for. His impact numbers are really mid and it makes me think his production comes from having the ball in his hands a lot on a bad team
Great shooter but really doesn’t do much else that well
@Zach__317@the2kmessiah I agree, but it’s more about the players you’d be giving up than the picks
Does trading Obi and/or Nesmith for Murphy increase your championship odds that much to the point where it’s worth giving up 3 firsts and an extra depth piece in Walk/Shep? I don’t think it does
@DevGro34@the2kmessiah It would be one of TJ/Nesmith/Toppin and one of Walker/Sheppard along with multiple firsts
Not worth it for a guy that most of Pacers twitter is severely overrating
