Occasionally I think about just how long it's been since I talked to anyone here, and especially now that I realize it's only been a year since I got this account, and worked at the Museum...
I don't know how to feel.
I miss some people here, even if I doubt we'll talk again.

Everything is quiet as ever, even still. Brodey's doing well after having gone back to school. Nicky and I have settled into a bit of side-work, with Neela popping in and out of our lives. I've been doing some classes and things at Gallaudet. And...things are good. Really good.

@DarkSuneela It's good! Definitely good. I'm really glad it's stayed that way, too. I just remember a few people seemed to think that I'd be dragged back into it sooner or later.

In case anyone was wondering: as far as I can tell, the Slaughter hasn't tried to get its claws into me again. It's been what, two and a half months, and I don't know if it's going to try, but so far, it hasn't.

@NickyStxwart yeah! i'm sure they will be. i really, really miss them, and i'm very glad that my parents managed to get a decent herd again. next year, we're going to have to go back so i can help shear them, too. or at least, i'll have to go back. it's my favorite time of year.

Phoebe and Joan are here, and while they're staying at a hotel nearby, they're mostly spending their time here. But...everyone seems to be getting along well. Phoebe's delighted with Artemis and Apollo, and Joan and Nicky are talking cooking, so...I think it's not bad...
