Please don't start conversations with strangers with a contextless "Hi". I don't mind messages from strangers, but opening with a generic message like that gives me no idea what it is you actually want.
Try: "Hi, I wanted to ask _____" or "Hey, can you help with _____?"

@Jaystopher@eiswuff@hereforthezoo That section I linked and the overall page both cite more recent sources. Additionally, I also cited more recent research, with the DAEC report.
@Jaystopher@eiswuff@hereforthezoo I sent a translation because I didn't think to assume you read Danish, and figured an English translation would more likely be easier for you to read.

@Jaystopher@eiswuff@hereforthezoo Beyond that, the Danish Animal Ethics Council did a review of human-animal sexuality and found similar results, those being that, absent other abuse, animals respond positively to such relationships, with greater happiness and more emotional bonding.

@Jaystopher@eiswuff@hereforthezoo Hi there.
If you're looking for less anecdotal evidence, there's been some science that addresses the subject.
This page gives an overview of some of it:

@RaineYote @Fley_The_Dragon No worries. The account isn't hidden or anything. Heck that's why I use the same profile picture!
I still check DMs and stuff on twitter, so I see notifications like this. No worries. I'm glad my comment brightened up some folks' days!
@dog_lovin_poss That's not what was happening. What was happening was that any sort of interaction with Twitter was sending me to a page saying "your activity is suspicious, complete this antibot thingamabob!"
I'm pretty much at my limit with Twitter and I'm unsure about any alternatives that effectively meet what I want out of a site.
You might see me on Telegram or on ZooCommunity, and I might look beyond those eventually.
@InterestedKnot @AkitoTheZoo My problem with Mastadon is... I'm on twitter because of the discoverability and public visibility it offers. That I've been able to help so many zoos, people who are questioning, and honest people with questions.
Mastodon, as I understand it, loses all of that.
That said, she's still an antagonist / villain. Come to think of it, I can't think of any examples of coyotes in media that have positive depictions.
It upsets me how much humanity hates coyotes.
Am I the only one who finds the coyote from Far From the Tree attractive? I seriously think she's maybe the only animated coyote I've ever seen that isn't drawn too wonky (she's a bit scraggly, but in an endearing way!).
@hereforthezoo I had my first lewd dream about a dog when I was eight, but I think I actually had the realization that I was attracted to animals at around 10-11?
@RRyder420 @hereforthezoo@ZooeyDotPub Where's Perdita?
I'd ask about the unnamed coyote from Far From The Tree but she's too D list by most standards to make any sort of ranking, even if she's probably my personal favorite.
I just might be biased there though. Just maybe.
@animalboysister I think the best part is that people are actually falling for this. I thought at first, "no way, they'll realize the joke" but I should have known better than to have any nonzero expectations at all.
