Each year, we honor a staff member whose dedication, heart, and impact shine brightly across our campus. We’re excited to announce REAGAN SCOTT our 2025-2026 Richard J. Lee Elementary Teacher of the Year! #rjlyear12
“Wall walking” before Open House is my FAVORITE Principal thing to do. I have more pictures than space in this video to showcase the great learning in our incredible public school. Come and check it out tonight from 5:30-6:30! #rjlyear12

We turned planting into a learning experiment! When our 2nd graders planted seed potatoes, they predicted how potato plants grow. 65% thought potatoes grow ON the plant — not underground! Now we will watch, observe, and find out. Science in action! 🥔 @NetZeroLee
I love that our Red House 5th graders are leading the house meeting this morning and encouraging an interactive discussion around FORTITUDE! @NetZeroLee
Our 1st graders built worm bins, moved worms, and added veggie scraps from home. They also learned how worms eat, interact with other creatures and help our planet. Hands-on experience brings learning to life, shifting the perspective from Eww” to “Wow.” 🌍🪱 @NetZeroLee
One of our Color Run sponsors @CoppellTKD is hosting a FREE family martial arts event where kids can:

Our 5th graders recently rated the strawberries they’ve been growing since October. By creating their own rating categories, they learned to analyze specific flavor profiles rather than just saying it’s "good." Turning every moment into learning! @NetZeroLee

Ms. Scott had quite the fan club at tonight’s @coppell_isd Board Meeting. We are so proud to have her representing our campus this year. #rjlyear12#gameonspurs
Simple garden questions lay a foundation for kids' future innovation! 🌱
My top tips:
1. Connect topics to tasks
2. Ask questions first
3. Learn through dialogue
4. Actively listen
5. Build thinking habits
What’s one way you help kids think deeply? @NetZeroLee
Four of our amazing designers just earned PTO classroom grants, & we are so grateful! Thanks to the generosity of our PTO, their classrooms will be enriched with art resources, hands-on science kits, engaging math materials, & even monarch butterfly supplements. #rjlyear12
Once upon a time at Lee Elementary, our first grade princes and princesses gathered for a magical Fairytale Ball. Dressed in their royal best, our learners danced with joy. The celebration continued as they shared their fairytale stories. #rjlyear12#gameonspurs
Today we were led by the cutest Principal for the Day at Lee. He greeted learners, helped raise the flag, spoke with the superintendent, supported safety drills, surprised teachers with stickers, and even joined the campus game of the day. Leadership starts early at Lee.
