@JFreshHockey Matt Martin really impressed me years ago watching him in person. Just made so many great reads and was always in position, I never knew how good he was in that sense and understand now how he had such a long NHL career because of it.

@GlorekRooster@JFreshHockey On the Hawks he will be their number 1 but on any good team he’s not a true number 1 D. The price they paid reflects that, nobody is getting a number 1 D for 4th overall and a 2nd round pick unless they’re older or a contract dump.
@G92Nuck@JFreshHockey I think that’s an issue for some teams and as a GM I’d be out on them for that reason that they’ve never played separate or faced adversity on their own. Good players but I worry how they will transition to the NHL especially if they’re not drafted together.
@TrimSpacel@JFreshHockey I just think for a team looking to draft them they’ve never really faced adversity or played separate from one another to know what their games look like independently. This is the NHL not AAA you don’t just get to pick to continue playing with a sibling at every level.
@TrimSpacel@JFreshHockey Liam is the better player and less reliant on Markus than Markus is on him. I think them playing together their whole careers together and wanting to continue playing together is an issue for NHL teams. If they get drafted separately I think they will struggle a bit.
