Agree. A paradigm shift occurring is causing the boat to capsize.
But a reset is needed. A long hard look at academics who are just treading water, waiting to retire.
Without war, plague, famine or genocide, unfortunately a demise is certain.

@wawisloyola It’s not only the 9-5 grind, 5 days a week in the office that will change, people will also begin to demand/shift to lesser course loads, curriculum, schedules etc. Physical and mental health will come before work and education, because we’re already overworked and overeducated!

Maybe introduce zero hours and bonuses for results.
I think many lecturers have never left the comfort of academia and enjoy the power.
Also, the whole system is to leave the student in debt and a virtual slave (in the real world)

@leaveit2bver @wawisloyola The Contractual obligations should be met or else the student compensated. Basically, you're paying for them to strike and I know for a FACT the pay is reasonable. I'd ditch your Ed and quickly learn tech and passive income.

The education of financial self sufficiency is paramount. A paradigm shift in thinking required. Debt is the foundation of the banking system. I see no real desire for ending the status quo.
