Generative art reminds us creativity isn't bound by anythingโit emerges from code, chance, and collaboration with AI.
Progress is messy, and we're here for it ๐น
Meet Neutantsโa living art collection powered by a neural network permanently deployed onchain, generating unique pixel art for every holder.
Each token creates a 6-number seed that feeds directly into the CNNโsame seed always produces the same art, but every seed creates something completely unique.
Over time the collection evolves as seed generation parameters expand creating increasingly chaotic Neutants.
Generative art is far from deadโit's alive on @base
1/ This morning, @CozomoMedici's poll sparked a lot of conversation around generative art, some thoughtful, some angry, and some from people who clearly werenโt around in 2021 ๐
As someone who's been creating gen art with @Ze_blocks since 2020, I wanted to share a few thoughts and respond to some takes from that thread. ๐
if base is the home for experimentation onchain, then they should be exploring a new form of identity/asset for their users.
That's why @base should be exploring ERC20i
Native tokens that aren't just speculative assets for holding & trading but interactive experiences. Users aren't just trading; they're collecting, creating, and engaging with dynamic content that evolves with their onchain activity.

The Playground lets users generate AI visuals on-chain using six numbers as input. These are sent to a neural network fully deployed on the Base blockchain, which returns visual data deterministically.
The output is interpreted in JavaScript and rendered as an SVG. This setup keeps generation verifiable and tamper-proof on-chain, while off-chain rendering ensures speed.

The flywheel has always been artists inspiring other artists.
Creators taking risks is what sparks the innovation that moves everything forwardโwe all build on the shoulders of giants!
Hey Danny, everything we do on EVM and @base was actually inspired by Art on Bitcoin. Youโve been someone Iโve followed for a long time.
We leveraged some of the unique aspects of ETH to add our own dynamic twist with ERC20i.
We all got here on the shoulders of giants, thank you for being such a great voice for Crypto and Digital art at large.
We finally had @VitalikButerin check out our app ๐ณ

Hey @brian_armstrong@VitalikButerin ๐
one of our community members came across transactions of yours from our new "Inscript" Mini App from @Falazen2@Froggi_ERC20i
https://t.co/67wUzb3vwe
Would love any feedback regarding the inscriptions mini app and what you thought of the beginners free claim experience that walks users through and educational tour of ERC-20i ๐๐ธ

We welcome a level playing field, cause there's nothing else like $Fungi anywhere
Excited for this opportunity. ๐
We've spent the last 16 months reaching out to every platform and marketplace seeing if we could implement an inscriptions viewer, since its the first of its kind. Never heard back from any of them, so we built our own inscriptions viewers and marketplace.
It's the first token you can buy on @coinbase, like any other memecoin, but it now has dynamic art inscribed.
Not like 404s, not a token swap for nft, no dual contracts, no offchain metadata - just one beautiful dynamic nft and token all rolled up into one asset
And shoutout to @freedomfactory - the only ones who helped us showcase ERC-20i, they are super based and proponents of open sourced work
our dms are still open to work together and bring something new to everyone onchain
