Imagine a 21st-century Pakistan where a former Prime Minister is asking for proper medical treatment for his eye, which has already lost most of its vision, and yet he is denied. He is not asking to be transferred to a hospital in London; rather, he is asking to be transferred to a local hospital where he can receive fair medical treatment. Imagine the credibility of justice system of a country where one former Prime Minister who is medically ill yet not allowed to meet his sisters, while another former Prime Minister gathers his entire former cabinet inside jail.

This is a Pakistan where the courts allowed one former Prime Minister to fly to the UK on questionable or fake medical reports, yet they force another former Prime Minister to be treated locally in the way they decide, not by his own doctors but by the Government doctors who cannot breath without permission.

How kangaroo can the courts be when, on one hand, they send a "Friend of the Court" who presents a concerning report about the former Prime Minister’s medical condition, but on the other hand, they seem bound to follow whatever those in power ask them to do?

I feel pity for this system when it raises its voice for human rights in Iran, Palestine, or anywhere else in the world, while burying the very same rights of one of the most famous and beloved people in Pakistan.

Pakistan’s courts often feel like theaters where judges dance like puppets, the powerful sit back as indifferent spectators, and justice is eaten like popcorn.

The Supreme Court is the only institution left, and now they are trying to subjugate that as well through unconstitutional amendments. Pakistan has no rule of law anymore, and there is no accountability. The Gang of Three has broken every law to get extensions (in their tenure), the most (adverse) impact of which has been on the economy.

All those in power now have their wealth stashed abroad, so they are mercilessly destroying the country’s institutions for their personal gain and power.

All my efforts have been to liberate you, so now it is time that you break the shackles of fear and come out (for your rights). It’s time to Do or Die! I have made this sacrifice only for your liberty, so now is the time for you to think beyond your personal interests and come out at every call for protest for the sake of the country’s future.
