So many of you still do not understand the immense power of Bitcoin

After all we have been through you still have no faith in fungible tokens on the largest blockchain

One day of the top Runes going down 20% and you give in

My message is simple

You are not ready

We will never go higher until you start to believe

We will not go a sat higher until we have either converted the doubters or purged them from our community

Runes are tokens of meaning that inherit Satoshi's legacy and the deep power intrinsic to the largest, most secure, most decentralized, and longest running crypto-economic network ever created

You are playing testnet games on the mainnet

These are not toys you put down and forget about like you do on the testnets

These are immutable digital assets etched into the one true chain for all of time

Recently I have seen many people making completely misguided suggestions for "fixes" to "make the price go up" that would only damage the integrity of specific Runes and the ecosystem at large

You must stop thinking in terms of the silly testnet games you used to play and start thinking about how to harness the true power of Bitcoin

I see so many people confused about the Runes thesis so I will just give you the absolute truth so that you can shut your laptop and come back in 6 months and not have fumbled everything by making rash short term decisions

An equilibrium exists in all systems

Forces far more powerful than you and me are always at work trying to bring a system back to its natural equilibrium

Given enough time the equilibrium will always be reached

There is not a single thing that you or I can do to stop it

The crypto market is a large system

For reasons that I will not get into right now the largest crypto-economic network in the world got out of sync to the most extreme degree possible from the rest of the crypto system

@rodarmor introducing Ordinals was the manifestation of forces attempting to reinstate an equilibrium on Bitcoin that are more powerful than any single human

In January of 2023, 99.99% of the value stored on the Bitcoin crypto-economic network was a single currency called BTC

Yet on all other mature Web3 crypto-economic networks 2/3 of the value stored was of the native currency and 1/3 of the value stored was of other fungible and non-fungible assets

We can rationalize how or why Bitcoin must come to a similar equilibrium but the absolute truth is that it will given enough time and there is nothing anyone in the world can do to stop it

We have already seen these forces at work with non-fungible tokens on Bitcoin over the past 16 months

We are now just beginning to see these forces at work with fungible tokens via the Runes Protocol

Runes have a cumulative market cap of ~$800M today which represents 0.064% of the total value stored on Bitcoin

To reach equilibrium this number must increase 625x to $500B representing 28.5% of the total value stored on Bitcoin

If you truly understand what I am saying these red days mean nothing and have no effect on your emotions because you know where we are going regardless

I am not going anywhere

$DOG is not going anywhere

Runes are not going anywhere

Bitcoin is not going anywhere

And there is nothing anybody can do to stop our ascent

Together we will rise and the virtue of patience will be rewarded
