I am concerned about the reports of the LGA election held yesterday in Abia.
I believe it is essential for the Obidients to address the events that transpired in Abia before criticizing INEC henceforth.
Abia state governor paid a personal lawyer N50m to draft the Aba-PH road contract. This occurred after the Ministry of Justice paid over N5bn in court staff salaries for the year. No staff of the Ministry is equipped to have drafted that contract, but his friend and lawyer.
@IkengaImo Rivers has reps members ..It's either you don't have anything for Ndi Imo, otherwise your focus should be on how to work for your constituency not this non-sense
May God deliver Abia State from the hands of masquerades , wolves in sheep clothings. Can anyone show us pictures or videos of these projects especially No. 5 , Capacity Building, WTF is that ?
Gov Alex Otti published quarterly financial reports and citizens asked to physically see the listed projects such as the N6.5 billion Recreational facility, and farm seedlings of N4.2b & threats started flying.
Where are the projects located?
Citizen engagement at play here. 👌
How wahala started in Abia State

8. How can you be comparing a Governor who has borrowed over #145b to a governor who is managing her resources to build his State. If other Governors before Otti borrowed the way Otti is doing, there wouldn't be any Abia
Because Mr Otti has the likes of @ChidiOdinkalu who is a professional sycophant, he can continue to loot Abia resources with unknown projects and gets protected in the media..
7. A challenge was thrown, anyone who can bring a picture of any new school or hospital that Mr Otti claimed he used #6b to build, Abians are willing to reward the person
5. He is yet to explain how he spent #3.2b on capacity building under 3 months and #3.1b in Research and development. All these are contained in his Q1 report..
4. Ferotex he accused of fraud is also one of his major contractor in Abia.. Mr Otti knows the truth but i can tell you why he wants to distract everyone..
3. When it was clear to everyone that he had no evidence to prove that any expenditure was recorded in the so called Abia airport, he decided to implicate an indigenous company Ferotex
2. In all these, Evidence of all the transactions were before him.. Dude had a letter confirming Abia govt stake in Geometrics power yet sat on national television to deny
Abia should given an award in lying..
Dude lied about Abia Stake in Geometric power, lied about payment of arrears of pension, lied that he has not collected any loan whereas evidence yakpa, Lied about Abia airport
Abia Airport. Fact or fiction.
Dr. @alexottiofr, I am not here to vindicate Okezie Ikpeazu as he is capable of defending himself.
However, I must bring to your attention the use of propaganda to mislead the people. We cannot allow such tactics to prevail.
Your practice of utilizing whistleblowers to selectively disclose information that supports your propaganda is incorrect and, in fact, corrupt.
On September 5th, 2023, while the state House of Assembly was in recess, you convened an unauthorized meeting with your stooge speaker and others to approve a virement of N22.6bn for you within 30 minutes. There were no deliberations whatsover. The whereabouts and allocation of these funds remain a mystery to date. The House also approved for you N15bn for Ferotex without disclosing the projects the company wants tp carry out. Demonstrate clean hands when seeking equity.
I challenge you to let Abians know the projects this amount went into. The expense was even backdated to August 13th (+/-) for utilization with this N22.6bn, which is regrettable.
The N10bn airport project raises questions about transparency, as the entire information was apparently withheld from public knowledge.
Dr. Ikpeazu, like you, utilized virement to re-allocate budgeted resources but did so openly. OVI opted for transparency by publicly listing the projects that will benefit from the reallocated funds, providing a clear and concise outline from start to finish. You have not done that yourself with the N22 6bn approved for you within 30 minutes. But, you want to claim a saint here. Be transparent yourself first.
It can be inferred that your government is opaque and unaccountable, which may indicate the presence of corruption.
I think disclosing every information about this audit is the first step to transparency. Do it immediately.
Reallocation of resources is not illegal.
The media trial and propaganda prompted your administration to allocate N12.5bn for information management in the state in this year's budget.
