My read on the rotation: institutions are moving from assets they hold toward assets that do things, yield, settlement, tokenization. Follow that logic one more step and it lands on RWAs, where the missing piece is verified retail demand. That is why I keep connecting the $PI KYC base to the RWA story.

V25 went live on Pi Network yesterday. The headline features are network stability improvements and zero-knowledge cryptography enabling privacy-preserving smart contracts.

The ZK piece matters more than it sounds. Pi's biggest structural advantage over other chains is the size of its KYC-verified user base. But verified identity plus transparent on-chain activity is an uncomfortable pairing for anything requiring financial privacy. That tension has limited what developers could build without exposing verified users' transaction history.

ZK proofs change that. Develoer can nowbuild apps where users prove they're verified Pioneers without revealing their on-chain activity. That opens up compliant DeFi, private settlement, and RWA applications where counterparty verification is needed but transaction detail should stay private. The combination of identity verification and ZK privacy is something most chains don't have at scale. $PI

Pi Ventures backing OpenMind, the humanoid robot control platform, is a signal about where the Pi ecosystem's ambitions sit beyond mobile mining.

SoloHost is distributed compute. PiVerify is on-chain KYC. Pi Sign-In is authentication. The pieces launched on Pi2Day map onto the infrastructure layer that autonomous and robotics platforms need. Remote robot control requires reliable identity, persistent session handling, and payments for access.

Whether developers in the Pi browser actually build toward that stack is still the open question. The venture bts fomPi Ventures suggest the core team has a broader vision than payments and lending apps.
