Hell isnt a threat to be good, hell is the eternal separation from God that is made by choice, whether someone loves a subjectively "good or bad" life.

Confession is only found among the Apostolic Churches, e.g Catholic, Orthodox, Armenian, Syriac, Tawhedo, Coptic. Confession is not found in most mainline Protestand denominations, which number more than a thousand, and most of American Christians.

Horrible acts committed in the name of faith are directly addressed in the Bible,
"Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity."
Matthew 7:22-23

This is what I mean, you'll say a good deal about what you think Christianity is, or what a Christian believes, but you lack any foundation for your claims. Especially when many Christians hold oppositional beliefs between denominations.
