Early Texas Ranger Cicero Rufus Perry. In 1844 he was severely wounded in a fight with the Comanches. With three wounds and left for dead, Cicero walked 120 miles, from near Uvalde to San Antonio, unarmed and without food or water. He was born in 1822 and passed away in 1898.
