@Yahiamice I holy shit I think I made this gif in senior school... i remember animating this shit. I was really proud of this. The way the block moves. Gosh...
@ultima_flashs if I was told at 14 that the stupid Gif I made for a school project would be shared around by people working inside nintendo, I would be absolutely stunlocked.
@Lythero Hold up... you worked on Roy?!?!? Holy shit I loved that show. One of the best shows on CBBC. The implementation of animation to live action was really good and the key posing always looked good
@ChangerHypnosis@ShitpostGate And I'll say what I will about the show (the sgi is ropey. The poor effects artists are overworked. There are a few REAL dud episodes, the ending isnt too great) but like... this is a female lawyer and this show is 1000% keeping in line with the style amd tone of the comics
@ChangerHypnosis@ShitpostGate I dunno that's what I was getting from the episode. That Bruce was constantly talking down to her, eating sour grapes because she doesn't struggle as much. She's very quickly like "oh im good... so umm... bye" and Bruce goes "NOOOO you cant just do that! This was hard for me!"
Based based based based based based based based based i am on the edge of my seat just white knuckling it, my teeth are so fucking clenched lets GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@VultureHorde@SuperNova999VT Yes. it's the difference between WWI and WWII.
WWII in terms of story is a "good guys bad guys" naritive. horrors were done on both sides but 1 side was clearly worse.
WWI was just a horrorshow for all parties involved. The "bad guys" are just as much victims of the war
@SuperNova999VT Thsts why in these circumstances these other factions become more emblematic of ideology and philosophy over just being good or evil. It needs be noted NEITHER of these types of fantasy is superior. Both work for their own purpose.
@SuperNova999VT BUT when you are doing a more open, nuanced, explorable world the question is asked of why? We exist in a world without evil races and still find ourselves surrounded by conflict. What are you adding with that and why are they incapable of diplomacy or peacemaking. -
