Unpopular question. @CBCOntarioToday
Why are we funding/expanding IVF when we have funding shortfalls for kids in The Children's Aid?
I'm not trolling.
I was born and raised in Toronto's Children's Aid. Question, why are we funding/expanding IVF @dougford when we have funding shortfalls for kids in
The Children's Aid?
Hey @CBCOntarioToday live in Toronto, but work in Brampton and can attest that BTown has a disproportionate number of Fast & Furious wannabes. HWY 410 is nuts. Truth.
@CBCOntarioToday Ontario Downtown's were challenged since "Shopping Malls" dried up when the big bo, Walmart type business showed up, online shopping kills brick & morter business so nobody noticed the homelessness.
@cbcwhatonearth re global shipping & tariffs. Companies cancel bookings (Jaguar cars cancelled shipping to USA). What's going on with the ships? Do they just park them? What about the stuff that was to come back in that same ship? Positive/Negative re Emissions? Love ur show!
Hey @CBCOntarioToday given vaccine hesitation or just opting out, do we have an idea how hard the Amish and Mennonite communities have been impacted if at all? Thx for todays topic.
@metromorning 5:30am newscast airport personality interviewed mentioned 660 flights affected, however CBC presenter made note of 1300 flights a day out of Heathrow?
Which is it?
Rather than vote "for" another party, I have heard regular Canadians at work say they would vote "against" @cafreeland as leader (PM) Liberals. @cath_cullen@CBCTheHouse
@ianhanomansing It's become less attractive. Before you could interact and debate peeps on topics, not so much now. Who knows what's really real, and now the new owner wants me to interact with my timeline to make a post (like this one). I don't know if you'll even see this.
Putting in a bike lane on Parkside Dr in Toronto is questionable, if not a little nuts. You can ride a bike through High Park already, which is also safer. @fordnation@cityoftoronto@oliviachow
@mattgallowaycbc I remember the cross border cheeae smuggling, back in 2012. Maybe the question has to do with Dairy quota and protections Ontario has in place. @TheCurrentCBC
Hey @metromorning@davidcommon where on CBC Radio do I hear AI generated content? Can or does ACBC use AI generated voices, (such as a voice that gave a weather forecast, but we don't get the name of the voice) Where does CBC use AI ?
@CBCOntarioToday mention of pre election stunt. Please contrast @fordnation 2024 cheque idea, against other Ontario government pre election "stunts". The cancelled gas plants under the Kathleen Wynnes government comes to mind, as does the sale of Hydro.
I don't have numbers
@CBCOntarioToday the proposed Lane reductions on Parkside Dr (Toronto) will only lead to increased traffic congestion North on keele St, already traffic cuts through these neighbourhoods. 400 leads to Black Creek, Weston Rd, Keele St this is a main conduit route South in the city
@CBCOntarioToday Cyclist living in Parkdale High Park. Bike lanes good, execution is challenging in this neighborhood. Please ask about the traffic due to construction on Gardnier, coming North Windermere, Ellis, Colborne Lodge and then cutting through the neighborhoods FAST.
Hey Nora, In addtion to endless afternoons of learning for me, I've had wonderful conversation with my kids that started by listening @sparkcbc Your show, young minds, critical thinkers. Thx
